Late 1944. Nazi Germany is rapidly heading toward defeat. In a bid to turn the course of the war, Hitler bets on “miracle weapons” — the V-2 rocket, with colossal destructive power against which the enemy has no reliable protection.
German engineer Rudi Graf is one of the men who helped lay the groundwork for ballistic development. Once, he dreamed of flights to the stars and building spacecraft, but the reality of war turns his dream into a weapon: now his rockets are raining down on residential areas of English cities.
On the other side of the front line, Kay, an officer in British air intelligence, is trying to obtain information about the Reich’s ultra-secret project and locate the sites from which the V-2 is launched.
Their paths cross in an unseen confrontation where the stakes are not just the success of an operation, but the lives of thousands of people.
