“It’s space, baby!” is an audio play by the first actress in history who went to the ISS to film the movie “The Challenge.” For almost six hours, Yulia Peresild talks about preparation, training, the space flight, and working on the film under conditions of weightlessness. She also debunks rumors surrounding “The Challenge” since the time of preparation for filming.
Her daughters—Anna and Maria—took part in creating the audiobook. At the moment of recording, for the first time they read their mother’s letters, prepared in advance in case the space expedition ended unfavorably.
Interesting fact: the narration used the only contactless musical instrument in the world—the theremin. It’s precisely this instrument that gave the story a “space” sound. The audiobook is exclusively available on the LitRes website and in the LitRes apps starting April 12.
