Sixteen-year-old Alina lives in a city she considers hell. She ends up in a dangerous situation because a maniac named Hass is hunting her—he is probably her father. At the same time, Hass is being hunted by a boy named Zyablik, who can’t forgive the maniac for his old wrongs. Zyablik is also sixteen, and Alina is afraid of the maniac, of nights, of footsteps behind her back—and decides to hide with Zyablik. However, she doesn’t know that Zyablik can be more dangerous than Hass. Maybe she knows it, maybe she doesn’t.
