Emily and the Magical Door

Emily and her family live in a magical house. It seems to have stepped out of fairy tales—very old, full of mysterious things, mirrors, and paintings darkened with time. The girl has noticed more than once that something strange is going on in the house: sometimes the doors change color, sometimes the scenery outside the window changes. She always thought it was just her imagination, but one day she saw someone else’s reflection in the huge mirror in the hallway. And when Emily pressed her hand to the glass, it gave way as if it were a film. Could it be a door to another world?
