Description
In the future drawn by Osa Avdich, the Soviet Union never ceased to exist; on the contrary, most European countries entered the social camp, which bears the proud name of the Friendly Union. The story begins in Stockholm, the protectorate of Sweden, in March 2037. Anna Francis, an employee of the ministry, is offered to take part in a secret experiment: the government is looking for an employee to fill a vacant position in the mysterious project RAN, and it is precisely Anna who must help choose that candidate. To do so, she will be sent together with the candidates to the island of Isola, where, after some time, she must simulate her death and see how people on the island behave in a critical situation.
But what’s happening quickly gets out of control. Each member of the team keeps their own terrible secrets, and the entire operation turns out to be nothing like what it seemed to be.
