One of the days of the last quarter of the 20th century was marked by a strange incident: oil and its derivatives for several hours lost their flammable properties, which nearly led to chaos everywhere in the world. Scientists still couldn’t figure out the cause of this phenomenon. More than half a century passed, and the bathhouse worker Victor Nezverev decided to tell the truth about those distant events: it turns out that the culprit was Victor’s Uncle—an unassuming accountant and a great, unrecognized scientist.
