Description

Young French nobleman Louis de Laval, who fled to England after the revolution, in 1805 receives a letter from his uncle Bernac inviting him to return to France. Upon arriving home, he finds himself at the heart of the Napoleonic camp—at the Boulogne camp, where the Emperor is preparing the invasion of England. Caught between the duty of a monarchist royalist, family intrigues, and the irresistible force of Napoleon’s personality, the hero is forced to make a choice that will determine his fate.
