Two Ladies and a Pebble Beach

A vacation is warm sea, bright sunshine, fresh fish, and fruits right from the branch… Vacation is wonderful, but it’s also difficult. Even deciding where to spend it isn’t easy. And you still need to pack a suitcase and get to your destination… It would be great if all the problems ended there—if you could just stretch out on a sun lounger and enjoy the rest. But what if the problems start only after arriving on the lovely island?

Polina Razumova arrived on Kerkyra Island together with her nephew and Lady Camille Conveye. They reached the rented villa, inhaled the salty sea air… And what then?

Almost at the villa’s door, they found the corpse of one of the neighboring villa’s residents. Even if it’s established that the death was the result of an accident, something is still not right. And when a body of a murdered priest is found in a small local temple, even busy Polina realizes: this vacation won’t be easy. She’ll have to help the local city guard’s sub-lieutenant untangle the case—and at the same time find a couple of skeletons in the closets of respectable locals.
