An Eastern Dragon

A story.

If one ruler decides to save money, and the other wants to teach his rebellious nephew a lesson, then the subjects of both empires will have to pay. Some will pay in the currency of honor, others to the Motherland, still others in coins to the treasury, and the fourth in the form of the daughters.

And what will it turn into? At the very least, a profitable acquisition for one dragon! Only this very “acquisition” never got asked for its opinion. And maybe I don’t agree!
