During rocket bombardments in Belgrade, the priest Miki finds an ancient manuscript of a mysterious traveler. The traveler’s route—passing through Serbia to Tsargrad Road to Constantinople—miraculously goes beyond time limits. Behind the mysterious manuscript, in which the history of the future is laid out, begins a breathtaking chase through space and time.

In the novel, the past and the future are skillfully intertwined, with a subtle humor and bitter experiences, kind irony and a deep penetration into the eternal questions of history and changing forms of being.
