There is a place in the deep Siberian hinterland that draws people from all over the world: scientists hungry for sensational discoveries, psychics and clairvoyants—hunters of everything supernatural—sick people and guardians in search of relief from ailments and sorrows. And even those who have everything and, it seems, have nothing left to wish for. Georgiy, having learned about the phenomenon of the Five Lakes and the mysterious village of Okunevo lost in the taiga region, surrounded by impassable swamps, also sets off to look for his own happiness.
