Description
Catherine Howard works as an appraiser at an auction in London, and she’s tasked with valuing a collection of a long-forgotten but once-famous early-20th-century taxidermist. She arrives at the Red Estate—a mysterious house in the backwoods—where nearby there is only an abandoned village and no mobile reception. Strange legends circulate about why the village emptied out, but when Catherine is shown the first rooms with the collection, she understands she’s stumbled upon a gold mine.
