Don't Live Long (DAYZ)

A story based on the post-apocalyptic game DAY Z. It shows how both bad and good traits of a person manifest themselves in the face of danger, lawlessness, and total anarchy of the post-apocalypse, where it is hard for a person to hide their true face. It tells about ordinary human joys, various little everyday details, commonplace conversations over nothing at all—relaxing at the table, helping you forget those unpleasant emotions after constant psychological strain and fear of the unknown during expeditions across different parts of “Chernorus,” thanks to which the main character survives. The main thing in the story is betrayal: the person for whom the main character risked his own life and whom he trusted, but who he did not expect would lead things to turn out this way because of him. This story is not like those where the main character is all-powerful and immortal. No. It’s a realistic story with an unhappy ending—it shows things as they really are.
