Today you’ll hear the fairy tale “Aibolit the Doctor.” You’ve probably known this tale in verse for a long time and have read it with enthusiasm more than once in kindergarten or at home: “A kind-hearted doctor Aibolit sits under a tree…” But K. Chukovsky also wrote this tale about the kind and brave Aibolit and his friends—a monkey Chichi, a dog Avva, and a parrot Karrrudo—in prose, and you’ll now hear an adaptation.
