In 1997, the novel “The King’s Daughter” received two major literary awards at once—the Nebula and the Intergalactic Prize for Best Novel. In 2022, the long-awaited world premiere of the film adaptation took place. Some scenes were filmed in the famous Versailles (late at night, when there were no tourists), including a large dance sequence in the Hall of Mirrors—the most famous interior of the Sun King’s official residence. The lead roles in the film will be played by Pierce Brosnan, William Hurt, and Kaya Scodelario.
