From that cursed day when the dead across the state of Indiana unexpectedly began to rise and kill ordinary Americans, the provincial southern town of Millwood promised to become a safe place for the temporary shelter of dozens—and even hundreds—of refugees.
A very small town, far from civilization, surrounded by natural barriers. The survivors of the zombie apocalypse created their own community in Millwood, coped with the calamity, and began to set their lives back on track.
However, over time supplies ran low, and Millwood sends five people to the neighboring town of Rundberg—a place crawling with the living dead—to find the necessary food and medicine in abandoned supermarkets there and keep the community stocked. Five brave men against several thousand living dead? It seems they have not a single chance to return alive.
