Fairy godmother Elrana is insanely busy. She works one and a half positions at the university, where she teaches young fairies the wisdom of their future profession, and on top of that she does good deeds whenever she can.
So when one evening a prince turned up asking for help, at first she did not even want to open the door to him. However, her inclination toward good deeds overcame her fatigue, and now the unfortunate fairy has somehow to marry the prince off to a tsarevna who never laughs.
But life is thrown into even greater disarray when another fairy godmother informs her colleague that she intends to arrange Elrana’s personal happiness.
Will the experienced, weary, and in her own way cynical fairy, who does not feel at all young, manage to see her life in a completely new light? Will she accept the role of bride? And if so, which of the men will prove the best candidate for the role of groom?
