Creatures capable of taking any form are hunting him down, destroying everything and everyone in their path. Fleeing his killers, a being from another world ends up on Earth and, by the will of circumstances, takes the form of Curtis Hammond, the twelve-year-old son of a farmer from Colorado. He has to go through all the circles of hell to find new friends and to confirm a simple and great truth: only hope that we give each other brings us out of darkness into the light. The bitterness of irreparable losses burns his face with tears, but each day fate (or the one who is above fate) sends him new friends. Shoulder to shoulder, they are destined to pass through the fiery labyrinth of Hell, so that, just a couple steps from Heaven, they may grasp the great truth: only hope that we give to others can lead us from darkness to the Light.
