The dilogy “Diary of the Revolution-2” is a continuation of the fantastic anti-utopia published in 2019. Resistance to the dictatorship of the powerful organization “The Single Eye” in the system of Sapey is not over yet. The members of the resistance movement—“true allies” of Aska and Solveig—face new trials, the main one of which will be overcoming their own misconceptions. Unlike the authors of classical anti-utopias, Sofia Ezziazi focuses least of all on describing the bizarre future world and instead pays the greatest attention to the inner experiences of the heroes, the problems of moral choice, and ethical dilemmas—both on a personal and a global level. Why do people betray? What danger does a perfect artificial intelligence hide? And what should you do if the power of fighters against a totalitarian regime turns into an even harsher dictatorship? The author of the dilogy seeks answers to these and other questions. At the center of the novel is a person’s path as they try to find their true essence and true freedom—and who hopes that in the end, good will finally triumph over evil.
