Dialogues

Plato’s legacy has reached us not in fragments or quotations, but almost in full. Plato’s “Dialogues” surprise with their simple exposition and, at the same time, with the depth of thought. And the dialog form of narration, the observation of a conversation as if from the outside, significantly improves understanding of the text. This work includes selected dialogues by Plato that are of greatest interest. Among them are “The Apology of Socrates,” “Crito,” “Phaedo,” “Phaedrus,” “The Sophist,” and “The Symposium.”
