“The Seagull” — a detective story about everyday police work in a Polish city.
Not long before a major Catholic holiday, the police find the body of a young woman in a park. The murder may be connected to preparations for a terrorist attack, which deeply worries the Gdańsk police. The investigation must be completed as quickly as possible, and this heavy task is assigned to Detective Baranowski. During the investigation, the detective will repeatedly face the question: “Can you, for the sake of justice, step over the law?” Once he already answered that question in the affirmative, and the events of those days won’t leave him in peace.
