The Day After the End of the World

Earth was blown up, and on a small surviving patch of land a man and a woman—miraculously surviving astronauts—were landed. Their thoughts about how to revive humankind are interrupted by an alien who appears. He tells them a story about what drove him to destroy an entire planet. Consumed by hatred and a desire for revenge, they kill the peaceful “green man” and decide to destroy his entire planet in return.
