A well-known Moscow photographer, Ilya, organizes an expedition to Uganda. He invites his close acquaintance Alice to join a group of six people. The girl gladly agrees. The group arrives at a nature reserve, rents a house, and begins working. Each of them has their own goals—and, as it turns out, their own secrets. One day Alice finds herself in a dangerous situation: face-to-face with a young lioness. Luckily, a young man named Ed is nearby. The lioness, Nola, lets Alice go alive and well, and a passionate romance sparks between the young people. But in Africa, the girl finds not only love, but also a tender friendship with Nola, who later saves Alice’s life.
