Essays and stories by Ivan Okhlobystin in the magnificent performance of Vadim Demchog.
Having heard his works performed by Demchog, the author gave the audiobook the title “Demchog Reads Okhlobystin.” For, in his words, after such a performance, the stories no longer belonged to him, and after they were downloaded by thousands of people, the audio version no longer belonged to Demchog either.
Vadim Demchog, in turn, remarked that Okhlobystin’s works are modernity bordering on the classics. While working on the book, he could not shake the feeling that he was reading Bulgakov, Zoshchenko, and Gogol in their own lifetime.
