In a modern alternative history there exists a huge state of Ordus, where Chinese is the official language, and the wisdom of Confucius is popular among the population. Diverse peoples who follow different religions and speak their own languages live in this country in relative peace. However, sometimes conflicts arise that must be resolved. That’s exactly what detective Bagatur Lobo and scholar-lawyer Bogdan Rukhovich Ouyangcev-Syu handle.
Their friendship began during a search for the cross of Saint Sisoios. During the investigation, Bagatur ended up on the ferry “Saint Evlampiy,” which sank after a clash among passengers— not all of whom were caught. Later, Bagatur accidentally meets one of the ferry fighters in a restaurant— a monk from the Aślanіv district—and decides to follow him to his homeland. Soon Bogdan also arrives there, but his search is connected not with monks.
This thrilling continuation of the adventures of two brave detectives, saturated with local Ordus traditions, promises to deliver real pleasure.
