In this village live Father Frost (Ded Moroz) and the Snow Maiden, along with their helpers—snowmen and snowmaids. True, from time to time they leave Dedmorozovka: they go to Veliky Ustyug to deliver the mail, or they make a New Year trip across the country, and once they even flew abroad—to visit Santa Claus.
