Description
The continuation of Daniel Defoe’s great novel “Robinson Crusoe,” which earned extraordinary popularity in all corners of the world. The full title of the book is: “The Further Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, forming the second and final part of his life, and a thrilling account of his journeys through three parts of the world, written by him himself.”
The novel tells about Robinson, who got bored with the monotonous, civilized life. Taking his friend Friday with him, he goes to an uninhabited island, finds there the natives, and gradually creates a world in which he would want to live. In the end, after many years of spacious, carefree life, clouds gather over Crusoe, and in one of the battles with the savages he loses Friday. Escaping from the ill-fated island, he reaches Asia and decides to return to England, traveling through China and Russia.
