Far, Far Away Space

The collection includes works by the finalists of the contest “Far, Far Space,” organized by “1С-Publishing” and held in 2018–2019 on the Author.Today portal. The contest’s finalists were judged by well-known science fiction writers Olga Gromyko, Dem Mikhailov, and Anatoly Drozдов. Out of 305 stories, the best were selected—these works are exactly what’s included in the collection being offered to you.

The stories share common themes, but the genres and tones are the widest variety. There’s humor, combat science fiction, real tragedy, philosophical sadness, traditional SF, and even satire. A cosmic mosaic assembled from the best stories that passed through the crucible of the two-stage contest shone with new colors in the performances of wonderful actors. And there is rich, musical accompaniment.
