Chlomma

A psychotherapist ends up on a planet living in symbiosis with a giant parasite. The hyper-organism drained seas and oceans, but became a source of resources and the object of worship for an entire civilization. Only the isolites suffer from Chlomma’s presence and dream of getting rid of it. The hero must decide which side he is on.

This is a story about dependencies and changes, about fixation and letting go. No symbiosis is eternal. Changes are the only thing stable in our universe. The only question is whether we accept changes or fight them—whether we let things drift on their own or create them ourselves.
