Amora is a spoiled, self-absorbed, and haughty princess of one of the three underwater kingdoms. She has no regard for duty or courtly rules—especially not the troubling rumors about the northern threat. More than anything, the mermaid dreamed of simply enjoying life: basking in the sun’s rays and frolicking among dolphins. But fate decided otherwise—now Amora must not live, but survive. She was chosen as the Keeper of the Seas, and on top of that, some pirate is keeping her prisoner on his cursed ship.
Damian has never pretended to be a hero—he’s a pirate, and that says it all. But in the North, ships began disappearing one after another, and then his friend vanished without a trace. The only clue is a special coin that, for some reason, ended up with a certain unbearable fury.
So Damian has only one thing left: dig out the truth—and, if he’s lucky, not throw overboard the one who, with enviable persistence, is driving him to madness.
