The Black Flood

Since the dark ages, when werewolves, mermaids, лесовики, and домови lived alongside people, each of us carries in our blood fragments of the genomes of ancient races. Most manage the dark part of their souls relatively easily, burying the ghosts of the past deep in the subconscious; someone needs help from the Church or a psychoanalyst, and someone drowns the voice of alien blood with vodka and drugs…

But there are also those who willingly let Night into themselves, and Darkness tears their souls out into the open—leading them beyond death and forcing them to pay for the “unbearable lightness of being” with other people’s lives. If these Children of the Night, hungry for destruction and blood, gain power, they will turn Russia into hell on earth.

Who will save our world from the undead and evil spirits? Who will defeat the bearers of Darkness? Who will win in the secret wars of blood that have been going on for more than a thousand years?..
