Leningrad, 1986. A group of eighth-graders from Vasilyevsky Island leads an ordinary teenage life: clubs, yard games, and first crushes—until one day, on their homemade radios, a strange, anomalous signal suddenly comes through. From that moment on, the kids get pulled into an investigation and face a nightmare that seems to have stepped straight out of their night dreams.
Leningrad, 1986. Friendly schoolchildren from Vasilyevsky Island are making the most of summer and their freedom: they’re into radio engineering and model shipbuilding, hiding and running through the courtyards of Dneprovsky Lane, preparing for the school disco, and for the first time learning how to understand “adult” feelings. But a chance discovery—a mysterious signal in the air—turns games into a real investigation. The trail leads them to an ancient fear from children’s fairy tales, which, as night falls, comes out to hunt… Will the friends manage to stop it?
You’ll be taken on a tense journey through forgotten back alleys of Soviet Leningrad, where, under the cover of darkness, city legends sometimes aren’t just made up.
