On a rainy evening, September 17, 1925, the life of eighteen-year-old Frida Kahlo split into “before” and “after”: the girl was in a car crash in which she survived only by a miracle. Trapped in bed and suffering from constant pain, she began to draw to distract herself. Soon she will decide to show her works to the acclaimed Mexican artist Diego Rivera—and together with his approval she will meet the greatest love in her—his—life.
