The Man from Scotland Yard

Thomas Hansehow was born in Brooklyn in 1857. From the age of 16, he played in theater—first in supporting roles, later in leading ones. In 1892 he moved with his family to the United Kingdom. Thomas Hansehow’s fame as an author came from a series of books about the "man with a thousand faces"—Hamilton Cleek (this series also includes the novel presented here, "The Man from Scotland Yard"), first appearing in stories in 1895.
