The Book of Hours of Boris Godunov

Tsar Ivan the Terrible was extremely formidable in his fits of rage. To avoid his wrath, Boris Godunov turned to a mage, who gave him a magical book with spells disguised as prayers.

Irina has just returned from a business trip when she’s immediately summoned to the police. An investigator with the surname Dyatел tries to accuse her of murdering a strange old woman—which turns out not to be an old woman at all, but a man in disguise, long believed to be dead.

Against her will, Irina is pulled into a chain of unusual events: she finds an ancient book in a worn cover, and then unbelievable things start happening to her.
