Sasha Filipenko was born in Minsk in 1984. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology of St. Petersburg State University and obtained a master’s degree. He received a “Bard College” diploma in New York. He worked as a screenwriter for a large number of programs on domestic television, including “Projectors Peris Khilton.” He hosted his own show on the TV channel “Dozhd” (Rain). In 2011, he was awarded a first-degree diploma by the Belarusian PEN-center.
