Boomerang of Revenge

The main character, Senior Investigator Elena Petelina, is tenacious, thoughtful, decisive—with an unsettled personal life. In addition to investigating crimes, she also has to deal with the problems of close people, digging into unresolved secrets from the past.

A hostage has been taken. The kidnapper is given a large ransom. Police believe the situation is under control, but as a result of the assault, the hostage and the criminal die. And the money vanishes mysteriously. And this is only the beginning of Petelina’s problems. Perhaps someone from “their own side” is standing against her.
