The Paper Menagerie

They live in the USA — he and his parents. His father is American, and his mother came from Hong Kong, knowing only a couple of words in English at the time. His mother taught him Chinese and folded wonderful origami for him. But children grow up, and with age they become, on one hand, more cruel, and on the other — they want to be like all the other children.
