The Future

The world of the future is a world of high technology and strange children with unusual abilities. What is it—another leap in evolution, the effect of untested vaccines, or government genetic experiments? No one really knew. Stillet is one of these strange children. At fifteen, an on-the-street orphan who has been used to taking care of himself since childhood, he never thought about such complicated things. He simply lived, defending his right to exist. And he did it with all his determination and strength, unwilling to become a toy in someone else’s hands.
