“The Brothers Karamazov” is the last novel by F. M. Dostoevsky, which the author wrote for two years. The novel was published in parts in the Russian Messenger. Dostoevsky conceived the novel as the first part of the epic novel “The History of the Great Sinner.” The novel was completed in November 1880. The writer died four months after publication.
