Brother of the Marsh Edge

"The Brother of the Boggy Edge" is the story of a patriarchal family living deep in a dense, ancient forest. Slavic folklore intertwines with modernity and with the fates of people who know neither love nor peace. What lurks in the impenetrable thicket? What hides in the bog’s mire? Whose sleep do the waters of the lake keep? Human grief brings to life vicious and merciless creatures; madness follows the trail of whoever dares to step onto their lands. But there is no creature more terrifying than a human—a person who has forgotten who they truly are.
