God Save the King!

The play “God Save the King!” takes place in a small English town in Kent after the war, in the house of Leonard Ersley, the only lawyer in town. He is quite successful and satisfied with life and his household, but does not notice, or does not want to notice, the obvious problems that have arisen over the past 15 years. In just a few days, events occur in the lives of this family and their neighbors that radically change the state of affairs, reveal the character of each of them, and lay bare their thoughts and desires. It becomes perfectly clear that in life there are no absolutely right or wrong people: everyone has their own truth, and each of them is unhappy in their own way.
