An original work that is both a look at an alternative past and an alternative future at the same time. The protagonist from the future ends up in the body of his great-grandfather, a military pilot, at the moment the Great Patriotic War begins.
Both consciousnesses—the great-grandfather’s and the protagonist’s—complement each other. Knowledge and training from future simulators allow the protagonist to manifest his superpowers in aerial combat.
From the author:
Dedicated to my father, Samokhvalov Aleksandr Ivanovich, who met that war on June 22, 1941 in the Carpathians—as a sergeant, deputy commander of a machine-gun platoon as part of the mountain rifle division—passed through Stalingrad, and saw it out on May 10, 1945 in Prague, as a captain, officer of the intelligence section of the army.
