"The Big Book of Communication with a Child" is an expanded and revised edition of the books “Talking with Your Child. How?” and “We Keep Communicating with Our Child. Like That?”, as well as special chapters devoted to children from the book “We Have Different Characters. What to Do?”
The texts have been expanded and supplemented with new material, along with new examples. Special attention is given to the logical structure and consistency of chapter presentation. In places written specifically for this edition, the author’s experience in teaching parents practical ways to communicate with their child is reflected. The book discusses mistaken parenting templates that create emotional tension in the family. It covers steps for overcoming emotional difficulties and building warm, friendly relationships.
Special emphasis is placed on an individual approach to children with different characters. It tells of successful experiences and joyful feelings of parents in new relationships, and of the surprising transformations of the children themselves.
