“Blockade Book” is a harsh book that tells about the suffering of besieged Leningrad under the Nazis, about the heroism of its residents—true Soviet people loyal to their Motherland—living through inhuman conditions of the blockade. This is a book about suffering and courage, about love and hatred, about death and immortality.
While working on the book, well-known writers A. Adamovich and D. Granin used diaries and accounts written by besieged Leningraders.
