One day, the usual life of a loving Petersburg family—who like to spend time playing “Bingo”—is disrupted by the arrival of an unusual guest. As it turns out, he is the husband’s relative, who spent many years in a psychiatric hospital, and whose existence the rest of the family had never even suspected. At first, everyone treats him with extreme suspicion. But gradually, thanks to his sincerity and interest in people, this “madman” not only wins the trust of all the apartment’s residents, but also helps them rediscover the mutual understanding they once lost.
