Description
The author outlines seven parameters that reflect the negative effects of stress on the body and provides detailed reasoning and recommendations.

Mithu Storoni—received medical education, studied neurobiology, trained as an ophthalmic surgeon, taught yoga, and earned a PhD in neuro-ophthalmology. Throughout all this time, she studied the state of pathology from different angles—and all roads led to the brain. The deeper she went into studying pathology, the more clearly she understood how important a role chronic stress plays in the transformation from a healthy state to pathology. After moving from London to Hong Kong—an Asian megacity living at a furious pace—Mithu strengthened her conviction. In front of her eyes, many of her friends and colleagues who seemed perfectly happy gradually gave up their hobbies, lost life energy and sharpness of mind, and ultimately surrendered, losing their prestigious jobs to chronic stress.

This prompted Mithu to write this book.

Mithu received her medical degree at the University of Cambridge and conducted research in neuro-ophthalmology at the National Clinic of Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, where she remained a member of a clinical research group until her recent move to Hong Kong with her husband.
