A silent night. The steppe. A piercing, icy wind. On the highway, a woman in white stands barely able to stay on her feet, covered in blood. The investigation quickly hits a dead end. The local investigators have no choice but to ask for help from Beijing: only Лю Сымяо, the country’s chief forensic pathologist, is capable of unraveling this bloody riddle. But she cannot intervene for a terrible reason—she herself, deranged and suffering from amnesia, was discovered near the crime scene. Now Лю Сымяо is the key suspect.
