Amadeo was born into a very strange world. Everything here seems just like in our world—but for some unclear reason, when people reach adolescence, their soul separates from their body and flies away to heaven or hell to spend eternity. The physical shells remain on Earth: they wander aimlessly or serve powerful priests, performing only the simplest actions they were taught as children.

No one can explain to Amadeo why this happens, and honestly, the young man isn’t really in the mood to search for answers to life’s most important questions. His soul stayed in his body longer than usual—until he turned eighteen—so there’s no chance of paradise anymore. There’s only one direction left—hell!
