Pregnant to Order, or the Price of a Billionaire's Love

— Are you a virgin? — an Arab asks.
His gaze burns straight through me—his domineering aura takes away my will.

— Yes, — I answer barely audibly.

— Then the conditions are like this: you will give birth to my child. You’ll receive payment. If you agree, I’ll immediately solve your problems, — his voice sounds businesslike and everyday, even indifferent.

I hug myself with my arms. I feel uncomfortable during this conversation. This man scares me. I don’t like the terms.

— Do you want to do IVF for me? — my voice is still quiet.

— Why IVF? Everything will happen naturally. So you agree?

I close my eyes. Do I have a choice?

Bandiits are after me; they demand a huge sum that my brother owes.

I have a terrible fate waiting for me if I don’t repay someone else’s debt, or else I’ll get rid of the problems but create new ones.

— I agree.
